Kevin M. Diamonstein, a native of Newport News, has been practicing law since 1990 concentrating primarily on criminal and civil defense.  His practice areas include elder law, guardian for children in custody cases and restoration of civil rights for those convicted of felonies.  He has also represented defendants in both state and federal courts including the Virginia Courts of Appeals, Virginia Supreme Court, the United States District Court-Eastern District of Virginia, and the fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Diamonstein is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the D.C. Bar, the Pennsylvania Bar and the New York State Bar.  Mr. Diamonstein was with the firm of Diamonstein, Becker and Staley, P.L.C. from 1990 to 1997 and had a solo practice from 1997 to July 2002.  Mr. Diamonstein received his Juris Doctorate degree from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington Virginia.
